So what is Lotion P50?
Despite the “lotion” title, this product is actually a liquid exfoliating and rebalancing product that is applied similarly to a toner after cleansing. This magic in a bottle exfoliates, hydrates, and balances the skin, acting as a multi-functional powerhouse that tackles various skincare issues. According to Harpers Bazaar, “The name is shorthand for ‘peeling’ and ‘50’ - which denotes the number of days (equal to two epidermal renewal cycles) that it should take for you to see maximum results. The classic formula that started it all! The original “1970” formula is ideal for acne-prone skin. Improves blackheads, whiteheads, and refines texture with a blend of nourishing botanical extracts to maintain hydration and supple elasticity.
Lotion P50v 1970
Gently purifies, hydrates, tones, controls sebum and balances the pH of the skin, visibly improving acne, rosacea, damaged, and mature skin. Also treats and prevents ingrown hairs from hormonal imbalances and pre/post shave.
Lotion P50W
For those with thin skin, sensitive skin, or p50 newbies!
A very gentle vitamin-enriched exfoliating lotion that purifies, mattifies, moisturizes and helps maintain a balanced acid pH.
Lotion P50
A cornerstone of Biologique Recherche’s method of epidermal reconditioning. The highest level of exfoliation and anti-aging powers. Not recommended for sensitive skin.
Lotion P50V
For mature, less toned and/or devitalized skin. Plumping formula enriched with extra vitamins to nourish aging skin while exfoliating and stimulating cell renewal.
Lotion P50 PIGM
Gently purifies and brightens dull skin while fading out the appearance of pigmentation spots. Helps regulate melanin synthesis while protecting the skin for a luminous, even complexion.
Tips for Getting Started
Use Lotion P50 after double cleansing before serums and moisturizer.
Apply with a cotton round, gently patting over the face, neck and décolleté in an upward motion.
For the first 2 weeks, wet the cotton round first with water to help dilute the product and acclimate your skin to the acids.
Normal to sensitive skin: use only in evenings in place of a retinoid.
Acne-prone skin can use morning and evening.
